As-Saffat 37:12

إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ ٱلْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ

37:10 — Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].

فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ ۚ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰهُم مِّن طِينٍ لَّازِبٍۭ

37:11 — Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay.

بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ

Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff;

Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking.

Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff

Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran).

But you wonder, and they ridicule.

You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it,

Transliteration

Bal AAajibta wayaskharoona

وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ

37:13 — And when they are reminded, they remember not.

وَإِذَا رَأَوْا۟ ءَايَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ

37:14 — And when they see a sign, they ridicule
