Ya-Sin 36:71

وَمَا عَلَّمْنَـٰهُ ٱلشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْءَانٌ مُّبِينٌ

36:69 — And We did not give Prophet Muhammad, knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur'an

لِّيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

36:70 — To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers.

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَآ أَنْعَـٰمًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَـٰلِكُونَ

Ahmed Ali

Do they not see the cattle among things We have fashioned by Our power, which they own,

Did they not see that We have created animals for them from Our handiwork, so they are their owners?

Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own?

Observe they not that We have created for them, of that which Our hands have worked, cattle: so that they are their owners.

Do they not see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have created, the cattle, so that they are their owners.

See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?-

Transliteration

Awalam yaraw anna khalaqna lahum mimma AAamilat aydeena anAAaman fahum laha malikoona

وَذَلَّلْنَـٰهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ

36:72 — And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat.

وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ

36:73 — And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful?
