An-Naml 27:69

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًا وَءَابَآؤُنَآ أَئِنَّا لَمُخْرَجُونَ

27:67 — And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]?

لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هَـٰذَا نَحْنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَـٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

27:68 — We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples."

قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

Ahmed Ali

Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners."

“Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.”

Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.'

Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits.

Transliteration

Qul seeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa kana AAaqibatu almujrimeena

وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا تَكُن فِى ضَيْقٍ مِّمَّا يَمْكُرُونَ

27:70 — And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire.

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ

27:71 — And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?"
