Al-Mu'minun 23:80

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ

23:78 — And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى ذَرَأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

23:79 — And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered.

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ ٱخْتِلَـٰفُ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

Ahmed Ali

It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand,

Ahmed Raza Khan

And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and for Him are the alternations of night and day; so do you not have sense?

It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand?

And He it is Who quickeneth and causeth to die, and His is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect?

And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand?

Transliteration

Wahuwa allathee yuhyee wayumeetu walahu ikhtilafu allayli waalnnahari afala taAAqiloona

بَلْ قَالُوا۟ مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ

23:81 — Rather, they say like what the former peoples said.

قَالُوٓا۟ أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَـٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ

23:82 — They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
