Al-Araf 7:197

أَلَهُمْ أَرْجُلٌ يَمْشُونَ بِهَآ ۖ أَمْ لَهُمْ أَيْدٍ يَبْطِشُونَ بِهَآ ۖ أَمْ لَهُمْ أَعْيُنٌ يُبْصِرُونَ بِهَآ ۖ أَمْ لَهُمْ ءَاذَانٌ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا ۗ قُلِ ٱدْعُوا۟ شُرَكَآءَكُمْ ثُمَّ كِيدُونِ فَلَا تُنظِرُونِ

7:195 — Do they have feet by which they walk? Or do they have hands by which they strike? Or do they have eyes by which they see? Or do they have ears by which they hear? Say, [O Muhammad], "Call your 'partners' and then conspire against me and give me no respite.

إِنَّ وَلِـِّۧىَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ۖ وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ

7:196 — Indeed, my protector is Allah, who has sent down the Book; and He is an ally to the righteous.

وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَكُمْ وَلَآ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنصُرُونَ

Ahmed Ali

While those you beseech apart from Him cannot help you or even help themselves.

“And those whom you worship besides Him cannot help you nor do they help themselves.”

And those on whom you call, apart from God, have no power to help you, neither they help themselves.'

And those whom ye call upon be side Him cannot succour you nor them selves they can succour.

The idols which you (the pagans) worship besides God can neither help you nor themselves.

And those whom you call upon besides Him are not able to help you, nor can they help themselves.

Yusuf Ali

"But those ye call upon besides Him, are unable to help you, and indeed to help themselves."

Transliteration

Waallatheena tadAAoona min doonihi la yastateeAAoona nasrakum wala anfusahum yansuroona

وَإِن تَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰ لَا يَسْمَعُوا۟ ۖ وَتَرَىٰهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ

7:198 — And if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking at you while they do not see.

خُذِ ٱلْعَفْوَ وَأْمُرْ بِٱلْعُرْفِ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ ٱلْجَـٰهِلِينَ

7:199 — Take what is given freely, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant.
