Az-Zumar 39:61

بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَتْكَ ءَايَـٰتِى فَكَذَّبْتَ بِهَا وَٱسْتَكْبَرْتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

39:59 — But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers.

وَيَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ تَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وُجُوهُهُم مُّسْوَدَّةٌ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ

39:60 — And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah [with] their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant?

وَيُنَجِّى ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ بِمَفَازَتِهِمْ لَا يَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلسُّوٓءُ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Ahmed Ali

God would rescue those who fear Him (and guide them) to places of safety. Neither will evil touch them nor regret.

Ahmed Raza Khan

And Allah will rescue the pious, to their place of salvation; neither will the punishment touch them, nor shall they grieve.

Arberry

But God shall deliver those that were godfearing in their security; evil shall not visit them, neither shall they sorrow.

Daryabadi

And Allah will deliver those who feared Him to their place of safety. Evil will not touch them, nor will they grieve.

Hilali & Khan

And Allah will deliver those who are the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) to their places of success (Paradise). Evil shall touch them not, nor shall they grieve.

Itani

And God will save those who maintained righteousness to their place of salvation. No harm will touch them, nor will they grieve.

Maududi

But as for the God-fearing, Allah will deliver them on account of their achievements: no harm shall visit them nor shall they grieve.

Mubarakpuri

And Allah will deliver those who have Taqwa to their places of success. Evil shall touch them not, nor shall they grieve.

Pickthall

And Allah delivereth those who ward off (evil) because of their deserts. Evil toucheth them not, nor do they grieve.

Qarai

Allah will deliver those who were Godwary with their salvation. No ill shall touch them, nor will they grieve.

Qaribullah & Darwish

But, Allah will save those who fear Him with their winnings (Paradise). No evil shall touch them, nor shall they ever grieve.

Saheeh International

And Allah will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve.

Sarwar

God will save the pious ones because of their virtuous deeds. No hardship will touch them nor will they be grieved.

Shakir

And Allah shall deliver those who guard (against evil) with their achievement; evil shall not touch them, nor shall they grieve.

Wahiduddin Khan

But God will deliver them who feared Him to their place of salvation. No evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve.

Yusuf Ali

But Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation: no evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve.

Transliteration

Wayunajjee Allahu allatheena ittaqaw bimafazatihim la yamassuhumu alssooo wala hum yahzanoona

ٱللَّهُ خَـٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَكِيلٌ

39:62 — Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs.

لَّهُۥ مَقَالِيدُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ

39:63 — To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And they who disbelieve in the verses of Allah - it is those who are the losers.
