Az-Zumar 39:30

قُرْءَانًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيْرَ ذِى عِوَجٍ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ

39:28 — [It is] an Arabic Qur'an, without any deviance that they might become righteous.

ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَّجُلًا فِيهِ شُرَكَآءُ مُتَشَـٰكِسُونَ وَرَجُلًا سَلَمًا لِّرَجُلٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًا ۚ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

39:29 — Allah presents an example: a slave owned by quarreling partners and another belonging exclusively to one man - are they equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! But most of them do not know.

إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ

Verily you will die, and so will they.

Indeed you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) will taste death, and they (the disbelievers) too will die.

Thou art mortal, and they are mortal;

Verily thou art mortal, and verily they are mortals.

Verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) will die and verily, they (too) will die.

You will die, and they will die.

(O Prophet), you are destined to die and they too are destined to die.

Verily, you will die, and verily, they (too) will die.

Lo! thou wilt die, and lo! they will die;

You will die, and they [too] will die.

You are mortal, and they are mortal

Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die.

(Muhammad), you will die and all of them will also die.

Shakir

Surely you shall die and they (too) shall surely die.

You will die and they too will die,

Yusuf Ali

Truly thou wilt die (one day), and truly they (too) will die (one day).

Transliteration

Innaka mayyitun wainnahum mayyitoona

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ تَخْتَصِمُونَ

39:31 — Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute.

فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلصِّدْقِ إِذْ جَآءَهُۥٓ ۚ أَلَيْسَ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

39:32 — So who is more unjust than one who lies about Allah and denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a residence for the disbelievers?
