Al-Furqan 25:31

لَّقَدْ أَضَلَّنِى عَنِ ٱلذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَنِى ۗ وَكَانَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ لِلْإِنسَـٰنِ خَذُولًا

25:29 — He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter."

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَـٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًا

25:30 — And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as [a thing] abandoned."

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِىٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا

Ahmed Ali

Thus do We keep opponents among the sinners for every apostle; yet your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper.

Ahmed Raza Khan

And this is how We had appointed guilty people as enemies to every Prophet; and Allah is Sufficient, to guide and to aid.

Arberry

Even so We have appointed to every Prophet an enemy among the sinners; but thy Lord suffices as a guide and as a helper.

And even scals We appointed unto every prophet an enemy from among the culprits. And thine Lord sufficeth as GUide and Helper.

Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, criminals, etc.). But Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper.

Itani

Likewise, to every prophet We assign enemies from among the wicked. But your Lord suffices as a Guide and Savior.

Maududi

O Muhammad, in this very way We have made the criminals the enemies of every Prophet, but your Lord suffices for you as your Guide and Helper.

Mubarakpuri

Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper.

Even so have We appointed unto every prophet an opponent from among the guilty; but Allah sufficeth for a Guide and Helper.

That is how for every prophet We assigned an enemy from among the guilty, and your Lord suffices as helper and guide.

To every Prophet We have appointed an enemy among the harmdoers; your Lord is Sufficient for you, a Guide and a Helper.

And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper.

Sarwar

Thus, from the sinful people We made enemies for every Prophet. Your Lord is a Sufficient Guide and Helper.

Shakir

And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the sinners and sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and a Helper.

Wahiduddin Khan

thus did We assign to every prophet an enemy from among the sinners; your Lord is sufficient as a guide and a helper.

Yusuf Ali

Thus have We made for every prophet an enemy among the sinners: but enough is thy Lord to guide and to help.

Transliteration

Wakathalika jaAAalna likulli nabiyyin AAaduwwan mina almujrimeena wakafa birabbika hadiyan wanaseeran

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ جُمْلَةً وَٰحِدَةً ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِۦ فُؤَادَكَ ۖ وَرَتَّلْنَـٰهُ تَرْتِيلًا

25:32 — And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly.

وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَـٰكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا

25:33 — And they do not come to you with an argument except that We bring you the truth and the best explanation.
