As-Sajdah 32:28

أَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِى مَسَـٰكِنِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ ۖ أَفَلَا يَسْمَعُونَ

32:26 — Has it not become clear to them how many generations We destroyed before them, [as] they walk among their dwellings? Indeed in that are signs; then do they not hear?

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا نَسُوقُ ٱلْمَآءَ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْجُرُزِ فَنُخْرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرْعًا تَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ أَنْعَـٰمُهُمْ وَأَنفُسُهُمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يُبْصِرُونَ

32:27 — Have they not seen that We drive the water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see?

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْفَتْحُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ

Ahmed Ali

Yet they say: "When will this decree come, if you speak the truth?"

Ahmed Raza Khan

And they say, “When will this decision take place, if you are truthful?”

Arberry

They also say, 'When shall be this Victory, if you speak truly?'

Daryabadi

And they say: When will this Decision arrive if ye are truthtellers?

Hilali & Khan

They say: "When will this Al-Fath (Decision) be (between us and you, i.e. the Day of Resurrection), if you are telling the truth?"

Itani

And they say, “When is this victory, if you are truthful?”

Maududi

They say: “If you are truthful, (tell us) when will the Judgement come?”

Mubarakpuri

They say: "When will this Fath be, if you are telling the truth"

Pickthall

And they say: When cometh this victory (of yours) if ye are truthful?

Qarai

They say, ‘When will this judgement be, if you are truthful?’

Qaribullah & Darwish

They also ask: 'When will this Opening come, if what you say is true'

Saheeh International

And they say, "When will be this conquest, if you should be truthful?"

Sarwar

They say, "If what you say is true, when will the final triumph come?"

Shakir

And they say: When will this judgment take place, If you are truthful?

Wahiduddin Khan

And they say, "When will this judgement come, if you are telling the truth?"

Yusuf Ali

They say: "When will this decision be, if ye are telling the truth?"

Transliteration

Wayaqooloona mata hatha alfathu in kuntum sadiqeena

قُلْ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَتْحِ لَا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِيمَـٰنُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ

32:29 — Say, [O Muhammad], "On the Day of Conquest the belief of those who had disbelieved will not benefit them, nor will they be reprieved."

فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَٱنتَظِرْ إِنَّهُم مُّنتَظِرُونَ

32:30 — So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting.
