An-Nur 24:46

يُقَلِّبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرِ

24:44 — Allah alternates the night and the day. Indeed in that is a lesson for those who have vision.

وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَ كُلَّ دَآبَّةٍ مِّن مَّآءٍ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّن يَمْشِى عَلَىٰ بَطْنِهِۦ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَمْشِى عَلَىٰ رِجْلَيْنِ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَمْشِى عَلَىٰٓ أَرْبَعٍ ۚ يَخْلُقُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

24:45 — Allah has created every [living] creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

لَّقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ ءَايَـٰتٍ مُّبَيِّنَـٰتٍ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

Ahmed Ali

We have surely sent down clear signs. It is God who guides whom He will to the path that is straight.

Ahmed Raza Khan

And We indeed sent down clear verses; and Allah may guide whomever He wills to the Straight Path.

Arberry

Now We have sent down signs making all clear; God guides whomsoever He will to a straight path.

Daryabadi

Assuredly We have sent down revelations illuminating: and Allah guideth whomsoever He listeth unto a path straight.

Hilali & Khan

We have indeed sent down (in this Quran) manifest Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, lawful and unlawful things, and the set boundries of Islamic religion, etc. that make things clear showing the Right Path of Allah). And Allah guides whom He wills to a Straight Path (i.e. to Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism).

Itani

We sent down enlightening revelations, and God guides whomever He wills to a straight path.

Maududi

We have sent down Revelations that make the reality quite plain; however, Allah guides to the straight path whomsoever He pleases.

Mubarakpuri

We have indeed sent down manifest Ayat. And Allah guides whom He wills to the straight path.

Verily We have sent down revelations and explained them. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path.

We have revealed illustrious revelations. God guides to the right path whomever He wants.

Certainly We have revealed clear communications, and Allah guides whom He pleases to the right way.

Wahiduddin Khan

We have sent down revelations clearly showing the truth. God guides whom He wills to the straight path.

Yusuf Ali

We have indeed sent down signs that make things manifest: and Allah guides whom He wills to a way that is straight.

Transliteration

Laqad anzalna ayatin mubayyinatin waAllahu yahdee man yashao ila siratin mustaqeemin

وَيَقُولُونَ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَبِٱلرَّسُولِ وَأَطَعْنَا ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ ۚ وَمَآ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

24:47 — But the hypocrites say, "We have believed in Allah and in the Messenger, and we obey"; then a party of them turns away after that. And those are not believers.

وَإِذَا دُعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ

24:48 — And when they are called to [the words of] Allah and His Messenger to judge between them, at once a party of them turns aside [in refusal].
