Ta-Ha 20:16

إِنَّنِىٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعْبُدْنِى وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكْرِىٓ

20:14 — Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance.

إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ

20:15 — Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives.

فَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا مَن لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ فَتَرْدَىٰ

Ahmed Ali

So do not let those who do not believe in it and follow their vain desires, turn you away from it.

“Therefore never let one, who does not accept faith in it and follows his own desires, prevent you from accepting this, so then you become ruined.”

Let none bar thee from it, that believes not in it but follows after his own caprice, or thou wilt perish.

Transliteration

Fala yasuddannaka AAanha man la yuminu biha waittabaAAa hawahu fatarda

وَمَا تِلْكَ بِيَمِينِكَ يَـٰمُوسَىٰ

20:17 — And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?"

قَالَ هِىَ عَصَاىَ أَتَوَكَّؤُا۟ عَلَيْهَا وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَىٰ غَنَمِى وَلِىَ فِيهَا مَـَٔارِبُ أُخْرَىٰ

20:18 — He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses."
