Al-Anam 6:55

وَكَذَٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لِّيَقُولُوٓا۟ أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنۢ بَيْنِنَآ ۗ أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ

6:53 — And thus We have tried some of them through others that the disbelievers might say, "Is it these whom Allah has favored among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful?

وَإِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَـٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۖ أَنَّهُۥ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنكُمْ سُوٓءًۢا بِجَهَـٰلَةٍ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُۥ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

6:54 — And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy: that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself - indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."

وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ وَلِتَسْتَبِينَ سَبِيلُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

Ahmed Ali

Thus distinctly do We explain Our signs that the way of sinners may become distinct.

Ahmed Raza Khan

And this is how We explain Our verses clearly and so that the way of the criminals become well exposed.

Arberry

Thus We distinguish Our signs, that the sinners' way may be manifest.

Daryabadi

And Thus We expound revelations so that the way of the culprits may be shown up.

Hilali & Khan

And thus do We explain the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail, that the way of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners), may become manifest.

Itani

Thus We explain the revelations, and expose the path of the unrighteous.

Maududi

Thus We clearly set forth Our signs so that the way of the wicked might become distinct.

Mubarakpuri

And thus do We explain the Ayat in detail, that the way of the criminals, may become manifest.

Pickthall

Thus do We expound the revelations that the way of the unrighteous may be manifest.

Qarai

Thus do We elaborate the signs, so that the way of the guilty may be exposed.

Qaribullah & Darwish

As such We make plain Our verses, so that the path of the wicked will be clear.

Saheeh International

And thus do We detail the verses, and [thus] the way of the criminals will become evident.

Sarwar

Thus do We explain Our revelations so that the sinful way can be plainly discerned.

Shakir

And thus do We make distinct the communications and so that the way of the guilty may become clear.

Wahiduddin Khan

Thus We make plain Our signs, so that the path of the evil-doers might be laid bare.

Yusuf Ali

Thus do We explain the signs in detail: that the way of the sinners may be shown up.

Transliteration

Wakathalika nufassilu alayati walitastabeena sabeelu almujrimeena

قُلْ إِنِّى نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قُل لَّآ أَتَّبِعُ أَهْوَآءَكُمْ ۙ قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًا وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ

6:56 — Say, "Indeed, I have been forbidden to worship those you invoke besides Allah." Say, "I will not follow your desires, for I would then have gone astray, and I would not be of the [rightly] guided."

قُلْ إِنِّى عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّى وَكَذَّبْتُم بِهِۦ ۚ مَا عِندِى مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنِ ٱلْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ ۖ يَقُصُّ ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلْفَـٰصِلِينَ

6:57 — Say, "Indeed, I am on clear evidence from my Lord, and you have denied it. I do not have that for which you are impatient. The decision is only for Allah. He relates the truth, and He is the best of deciders."
